Race in the Judicial System
Argument: That race does still has a huge effect on the judicial system. That many innocent people might be treated differently or even convicted simply because of their race.
Introduction: "You have the right to be judged by a jury of your peers", "all men are created equal", all of these are ideals made to instill a since of fairness and equality, unfortunately the judicial system has eliminated the opportunity for equality and fairness, by using race as a means of determining guilt or innocence in some cases.
Background: Opening with a brief history of movements made in the judicial system in regard to race Talking about the big area that race effects in the justice system.

I like this topic and how it still seems prevalent today. Also, the part about the judicial system made me think of the book "To Kill A Mockingbird." That book was written over fifty years ago and it might serve as a good juxtaposition as what sort of things have/have not changed as time progressed.
This topic is a very strong topic. I think you guys can do a lot with it and find excellent information and porve your argument. Your outline is well constructed and shows that you guys know what you are doing.
With this topic, we hope to not only point out one specific race, but to convey the mutiple races that are treated differently by our judicial system.
