Abstract: Great Man Theory in American History
Group Members: Mike and George
Our multimedia project is going to be an outline with the basic website structure provided. The homepage will be the clearly and completely state what we are trying to prove. It will provide answers to any questions a reader had about what our topic and argument was. It will entice the reader into wanting to read our sub topics which will be examples that provide evidence to our argument. The homepage will have video and photos to help get our point across.
Each of the secondary pages from the homepage will be an in depth analysis of a man or women in American history. These people are either very famous, symbolic or considered American heroes, people that would be found in an American history text book. The arguments will not be celebrating their accomplishments, we will be arguing that these “heroes” are receiving more credit in history then one man or women should be credited for. The argument is consistent for each of the people, that the credit should belong to other people or groups of people. Each webpage is going to be informative and insightful, it will also be full of multimedia including video, audio, and photos.
Our American people considered for this project: Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Paul Revere, Martin Luther King Jr. John Adams, Betsey Ross, Thomas Edison, Sam Adams, George Washington, John Paul Jones, Patrick Henry. Woodrow Wilson.

Your website sounds like it will be interesting, if it is as enticing as you say it will be. The visual and video add-ons you are planning to use will add a nice touch.
This sounds very interesting, and I am interested in seeing how you tie in the figures of america.
When I first started reading your abstract I couldn't figure out how you were going to choose great people of American history but then I saw your list at the bottom and it made more sense. I think you have a really good, interesting topic and I definitely think the side pages describing the people and their accomplishments will help your argument.
Your abstract sounds great and I cant wait to see the finish product. Good luck, because making a website is no joke.
Working in our groups, we are able to talk a lot about the stuff that we have to get done, and making a website was one of the points that came up. Making a well organized website is hard and very time consuming. I just wanted to say I think you guys can do it, it just takes effort. You guys have a great topic and it appears to be very interesting, I look forward to seeing the finished project. The visual touches that you will add will spice thing up and make it even more interesting!
I am interested to see how this site turns out, if there is enough evidence to prove your point. The site sounds like it will bring the reader in to read the entire argument instead of how some websites are plain and boring and only convey information but have no hook for the reader.
when you say the homepage will answer questions are you planning on having like a FAQ's kind of link thing. that would be cool.
I think this project is good and will attract your readers if you do it right. I like the idea of having a FAQ section. It might also help to have a section where people can email you guys and ask questions so you have more to put in you FAQ section.
I like how you are using the homepage to catch the audience's attention and interest them in exploring your website further.
